pH and Alkalinity Down

About This Item
pH and Alkalinity Down is designed to lower both the Alkalinity and pH of your spa or hot tub. Ideally, the Total Alkalinity should be between 80 and 150 ppm, and pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
Directions for Use:
pH and Alkalinity Down should be used as necessary when pH levels are above 7.8 or the Total Alkalinity is above 150ppm.
NOTE: For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small container filled with warm water, then apply the solution to the spa water.
1. Make sure all equipment is OFF.
2. Add 1/4 oz. (1-1/2 tsp.) of pH and Alkalinity Down for every 500 gallons of spa water.
3. Turn on circulation system for at least 15 minutes and leave spa cover off.
4. Turn off circulation system and replace lid. After at least 30 minutes retest the water. If pH is still above 7.8 or the Total Alkalinity is above 150ppm, repeat steps 1-3 as necessary.
